Revised CQI Policy
○ During the PEC visit of EE Department, the PEC visitation team
did not raised any objection on the previous CQI policy.
○ However, as the CQI policy is same for all department, therefore
it is revised based on the observation raised by PEC visitation
team in other departments.
○ The revised CQI policy is approved from BOS, BOF and
Academic Council.

Salient Points
• Both Mid and End Semester Exam have been merged and there will be
only one viva voce examination. Quizzes/Assignments will be graded.
• Practical courses will be graded on the basis of assignments/reports
submitted by the students and viva of that particular course.

• PEC released the third version of Accreditation manual in the
end 2019
• The minimum threshold value (i.e. KPI) should not be less
than 50% even to begin with
• Detailed description of 9 criteria's were provided to prepare
Self-Assessment report (SAR) for Accreditation of Batches
• Electrical Engineering department is preparing SAR for
accreditation of Batches 2017-19 based on PEC Accreditation
manual 2019 and will submit it by the end of October 2020.

Revised CQI Policy ○ During the PEC visit of EE Department, the PEC visitation team did not raised any objection on the previous CQI policy. ○ However, as the CQI policy is same for all department, therefore it is revised based on the observation raised by PEC visitation team in other departments. ○ The revised CQI policy is approved from BOS, BOF and Academic Council. 6
