ADVERTISING
NAME OF ARTIST
The name of the artist on the front cover of the CD is
probably one of the most important aspects of the
cover, it shows potential buyers who is being
promoted.
NAME OF THE ALBUM
The album name is probably just as important as the
artist. It is advised to make the album name in a
different font or in a different colour, this is to make it
stand out more.
MAIN IMAGE
The main image will most likely be similar if not the same to
one of your digipak images. This is will be the main focus
point on the cover.
LOGO’S
This is a trademark for followers to recognise and
link with. Although it may be small it is still very
important to have.
ARTIST AND LABEL WEBSITE
When advertising something, bands/ artists should always include
their websites on the poster. This allows fans to look them up in
greater detail if they need which will helm them in the long run. It will
give fans information about tours and concerts.
RELEASE DATE
This is there because it shows the audience when
they can buy the product, if it is already out it
normally says “out now” in inform the potential
buyers.
