1. Draft Written Content
Front Cover:
FUR
Not Enough
On the front cover, I have chosen to include
only the artist name and album name. This
allows for direct focus on the product being
sold, allowing a brand identity to be
constructed without the consumer being
distracted by any other text. The name ‘FUR’ is
abstract and conceptual, this making it
conventional of the indie genre. Likewise, the
title ‘Not Enough’ not only has direct link to the
music video we have produced, but further
communicates the same sombre, nostalgic
tone as is seen within this former product.
Track list:
Not Enough
Loved
Every Little Thing
Trying
Creature
I have chosen to feature only 5 songs on the track
list, as such as small number is conventional for
Indie artists on a debut EP. Their meaning is
intended to draw connotations to the same sombre
associations with romance presented in our music
video - where ‘Loved’ suggests a previous
relationship, ‘Every Little Thing’ indicates lasting
feelings and ‘Trying’ and ‘Creature’ are conceptual
representations of the struggle to move on, all of
which mimics the narrative constructed in the video.
