Summary
I have spent 23 years in the Software, Hardware, Networks, Telecommunications and Electronic machine
(ATM and EFTPOS) areas. I am skilled in installation, presentation, training, problem solving and fault
finding, with extensive experience in dealing with Client service and support. I am also competent,
experienced and efficient at handling high level responsibilities as a Senior Head of Department Manager.
Career History
November 2009 – September 2012
Allegiance Marketing Pty. Ltd. (Accor AdvantagePlus)
IT &Telecommunications Manager, Asia-Pacific
Major tasks included:
• Investigate the “State of Play” of the IT department and infrastructure at Manly. (this includes all
servers, routers, firewalls and links to other offices.) VPN’s etc… with a view to moving all of this
as soon as possible off site.
• Document all Finance IT software and procedures.
• Implement a company-wide Telecommunications Audit. Including all PABX systems, ISDN and
PSTN lines, and register against existing company records (and Telstra billing software
reporting).
• Implement a “helpdesk solution” to allow the logging of jobs across the company to the helpdesk
areas. This included the positions in India and China.
• Implement staff KPI’s across the IT and Telecommunications department. The above helpdesk
solution was able to track job performance and response times including workload and project
completion criteria.
• Implement a 6 day IT helpdesk, this will include a complete change in available IT hours to cater
for the various changes in time zones around the company, and enable IT support at all times any
member of staff may require that support.
• April 2010 commenced the largest Technology Integration project in the company’s history with
the combining of two Technology platforms of our own and Accor Paris’ member management
systems. This also involved the migration of 280,000 member profiles in each system. An
upgrade to Microsoft SQL as the main database platform with one unified database instead of the
previous Sybase replication database model across 34 offices. I worked closely with our two
programmers’ in designing the correct methodology for the integration platform, as the two
systems were very disparate environments. Successfully completed the migration in July 2011,
including the recoding and distribution of 280,000 new membership cards for the newly combined
product.
2. November 2006 – October 2009
Allegiance Marketing Pty. Ltd. (Accor AdvantagePlus)
Technology Projects Manager, Asia-Pacific
• Predominantly opening offices in Asia and spending the majority of time overseas.
• Complete “bare concrete” office designing and Project management, to turn key office handover
to new Sales Programme Manager. Quotations,(included computer, server, printer and network
components) contractor interviews and liasons, supervision, purchasing and installation of all
components for a complete office environment in each country. VoIP test project from back office
in India to Pyrmont sales office.
August 2005 - November 2006
Allegiance Marketing Pty. Ltd. (Accor AdvantagePlus)
Technology Projects Manager
• Encompassing the Project Management of all new office openings, and or refurbishments of
existing. This included: design and layout of the physical sales office environment, including
provision for the usual networking components and telephony, but also the arrangements of
desks and design, obtaining quotations for all areas (except computers and servers) ISDN
services, PSTN services, building, furniture, electrical accessories, in roof sound systems, then
supervising the installation of all the above in direct liaison onsite with the contractors for each
operation.
• Installing the Telephony and Network components and servers and computers myself.
Jan 2004-July 2005
Allegiance Marketing Pty. Ltd. (Accor AdvantagePlus)
PowerPlus Project Co-Ordinator
• Resurrect a stalled technology project. This involved the combining of the dialing/scripting
software from the company PowerConnex, and the PABX system in the Chatswood office of
AdvantagePlus.
• Successfully completed the Lead Generation and Sales Scripting call transfers and screen-Pop of
lead data from dialer to desktop employing the “SOX” PABX system. This company Tennyson
then went out of business and a new PABX solution had to be found. With much research into
functionality, expansion and cost considerations I recommended the Alcatel OXO solution. This
necessitated an almost total rewrite of the interface from the PowerConnex software into the
Alcatel. I became proficient in modifying the scripting software and using Access queries to create
my own Crystal Reports to push the project along.

Commercial Kitchenware company.
