HOW TO UPLOAD A FILE TO AN IBM CONNECTIONS.CLOUD COMMUNITY (USING OFFICE 2013 & CONNECTORS)
HERE’S A COMMUNITY IN IBM CONNECTIONS
HERE’S A FOLDER IN THAT COMMUNITY…
BACK IN EXCEL 2013, CLICK FILE
CLICK SAVE AS, IBM CONNECTIONS, COMMUNITIES
CHOOSE THE SITE AND THE COMMUNITY
CHOOSE THE FOLDER, NAME IT & CLICK OK
THAT’S IT. YOUR FILE IS NOW UPLOADED
THE CONNECTIONS OPTIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
WHERE TO GET THE PLUG-INS? • In IBM Connections.Cloud, • Click on your Profile Icon. • Go to Downloads and Setup • Get the IBM Connections File Sync & Share • You’ll need your IBM Greenhouse Account • Download the ZIP and extract it. • Save it somewhere where you can run the setup. If you have an unlocked environment, put it in a community for your users to run and then you can update the file whenever it changes (it’s roughly monthly)

WHERE TO GET THE PLUG-INS? • In IBM Connections.Cloud, • Click on your Profile Icon. • Go to Downloads and Setup • Get the IBM Connections File Sync & Share • You’ll need your IBM Greenhouse Account • Download the ZIP and extract it. • Save it somewhere where you can run the setup. If you have an unlocked environment, put it in a community for your users to run and then you can update the file whenever it changes (it’s roughly monthly)
