Internships and project work:
1. “OPTIMIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF BROWN FIELD WITH ASP PILOT IMPLEMENTATION” at “Institute For
Reservoir Studies” and Ahmedabad Asset (Sub-Surface Team): This was a project on a satellite field name “VIRAJ” where ASP
pilot was implemented. In this project various constraints of the field and current ASP pilot design was evaluated and optimization
of production and ASP was done.
2. “SINGLE STEP MATRIX ACIDIZATION” at Well stimulation services (ONGC Ahmedabad): In this project technique for
eliminating preflush stage in Mud acid stimulation was studied for “KALOL” field in Ahmedabad asset.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Responsible for the designing, planning and operations execution from petroleum engineering side for the development of a
Gas field with envisaged sanding problems, which includes following activities:
PREPARATION OF FIELD DEVEOPMENT PLAN : IT INCLUDES GIVEN BELOW ACTIVITIES:
Well test interpretation of last well tests of existing exploratory and appraisal wells.
Preparation of PVT model with the CME, CVD and CCE experiment results for the estimating the retrograde
condensation behavior of the fluid, establishing fluid parameters and condensate gas ratio .
Finalization of development strategy focusing on maximum recovery from each sand within optimum recovery
period.
Development of dynamic model with numerical simulator (ECLIPSE 100) with the history matching of existing
production data and incorporating the developed static model data .
Establishing gas water contacts with the MDT data and petro physical logs.
Incorporation of static model while upscaling the existing static model to incorporate it in the simulation model.
History matching of the existing well testing data and finalization of permeability and skin factors for different
sands.
Perform sensitivities on the model with hydraulic fracturing of highly damaged zones (as per test data)
Preparation of the budget and cost estimate for the project.
Designing of artificial lift strategy for liquid unloading: This includes evaluating and establishing artificial lift for
unloading wells with the simulated reservoir pressures and liquid loading criteria’s.
Evaluation of the sand control strategy : This includes the selection of the appropriate sand control strategy
considering the geo mechanics model, completion strategy, production commitments and PSD data (from offset well).
Designing of the completion strategy which involve:
Modeling of the completion string post development of nodal analysis last well tests and as per the proposed
production rates.
Completion string design considering the proposed operation, expected production rates and expected load
cases.
Sand screen design considering the offset PSD data.
Candidate selection for well stimulation opportunity.

2. DESIGN AND EXECUTION OF THE OPERATIONS: IT INCLUDES GIVEN BELOW ACTIVITIES:

Designed work programs of standalone screen completions with SSDs and gas lift valves as completion jewellery for
shallow water wells of Lakshmi field in CAMBAY basin.
Design and execution of Frac pack completion in Lakshmi field – a successful case history of reduction in sand
production using Frac Pack completion for Cairn India which includes:
Preparation of workover and frac pack program.
Designing of service tool for the operation.
Supervision of workover, Frac pack and well activation with N2-lift operation.
Played instrumental role in the operational and design for well testing for HPHT well project( Max BHP: 13000
psi, Max BHT: 437 Deg F) which includes:
Design of surface system layout for flow back, well testing and flaring.
Design of metallurgy of tubular and completion jewellery like (Packer circulation valve, string tester valves and tubing
tester valve) for DST string.
Preparation of the design and operational program for the well testing.
Worked as a night company man at rig site to supervise/execute completion activities.
Co-ordinated slick-line and e-line jobs in offshore wells in standalone platforms.
Onshore completion engineer:
Managed successful campaign for open hole completions and multistage fracturing ( First time in India) in
Barmer hill horizontal wells which includes:
Designing and procurement of completions equipments Frac sleeve’s with ball drop system, high differential swell
packers, liner hangers and Frac tree’s.
Preparation of completion and fracturing program and managing of completion operations for open hole completions in
horizontal wells for multistage fracturing.
Managing of packer replacement workovers of multistage fractured horizontal wells.
Managed campaign of the workover’s of appraisal wells of satellite fields which includes:
Designing and procurement of completion equipments for Satellite field wells.
Planning and execution of workover operations in the appraisal wells.
Planned and executed gas shut off job in NI field – a successful case history of gas channelling shut off using
resin (First time in Asia) which includes:
Identification of gas channeling medium which includes evaluation of chan plots, production data and formation logs.
Design and procurement of Well lock chemical (gas shut off chemical).
3. Designing, planning and execution of the workover job.
Experience of designing, formulation of programs and execution of different types of completions for Rajasthan
onshore fields:
Open hole completion with stand alone screens, ICD screens, Screen with SSD and slotted liner in Mangala Field.
Cased hole PCP completion with TCP shoot and pull perforation and flow back operations in Bhagyam Field.
Cased hole liner hanger completions for high pressure Deep gas wells.
Open hole completions with frac sleeve’s and swell packers for multistage fracturing in Barmer Hill.
ESP completion with multi-string (chemical injection line, ESP MLE cable and heater string for hot water circulation)
and fluid loss control valve in Mangala Horizontal wells (prone to high losses).
ESP completion with Y-block and provision to facilitate jet pumping.
Managed campaign for ESP installation in Aishwarya field which includes:
Designing of multi bore production packer.
Preparation of installation programs.
Managing contract and inventory for completion and ESP equipments.
FIT test of multi bore packers, packer penetrators, wellhead penetrators and function test of ESP pumps( in service
provider facility).
Onsite supervision of completion and workover operations for ESP installations.
Designed and executed well revival’s of Raageshwari deep gas field which includes:
Designing of the tubular’s and completion jewellery as per the load cases for current workover’s and future well
revival activities.
Formulation of well killing and fishing programs and repair of the malfunctioned sub-surface safety valves.
Formulation of well activation programs.
Single point accountability for 2 workover rigs from May 2013 – Feb 2014 while keeping a record of rig contract,
downtime, operational time, rig move time and zero rate time.
Commissioned on land workover rig and prepared rig commissioning report.
Worked as a night company man and completed over 10 ESP workovers in Mangala and Aishwarya field in Rajasthan.
Performed completion string design, tubing stress analysis and string movement analysis for workovers in deep gas
wells, PCP completions and ESP completions.

Played the role of area in-charge for Raageshwari Oil (Satellite field ( Production 1000 BOPD, Average GOR 1500
scf/bbl) where responsibility was for the following activities:
