 Facilitating application of suitable technology to improve productivity of stripper wells and instrumentally driving a pilot project
of Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery (Huff and Puff Method) in Ankleshwar Field
 Accountable for coordinating with different services such as Drilling, Logging, Well Stimulation Services, Cementing, etc. for
smooth execution of Drilling and WOR
 Meticulously increasing production potential across development & exploratory blocks by evaluating performance of Oil & Gas
reservoir, creating depletion strategies and recommending new projects
 Determining primary and remedial cementing procedures along with the design and installation of tubular, packers, subsurface
control and surveillance equipment
 Interpreting Well Logs to identify oil bearing zones for completion, reviewed wells history and provided recommendations for
optimizing production by integrating production data and work over history
 Developing field development plan for new discoveries (of Oil/Gas fields) and monitoring and analyzing operated properties,
including completions, work overs and assisted in the development opportunities and economic evaluations
 Managing reservoir voidage in fields to maintain the energy level in order to maximize recovery of oil and facilitating re -
vitalization of poor producers through rigless operations like suitable stimulation jobs, hydro fracturing jobs, etc.
 Spearheading Reservoir Surveillance Operations and Production Enhancement and providing on-site technical support to
ensure quality control during critical operations such as logging, perforating, cement squeezing, or stimulation
 Preparing well work over and completion procedures, cost estimates, project economics, and AFE documentation for
submission to management
 Responsible for generating production forecasts, strategize on field development, running optimization scenarios, well
deliverability analysis and run full-field numerical models
 Overseeing identification of suitable Hydrocarbon bearing layers by re-looking petro physical logs of poor producers and re-
vitalizing through suitable Work-over jobs/ side tracking
 Conducting performance review to prepare Re-development / Additional Development Plan for improvement in Oil & Gas
recovery through IOR/EOR
 Formulating, developing & executing Reservoir Management Plan (RMP) and Operating Strategy (OS) and performing
economic evaluation of development schemes, risk management and techno-commercial viability of project
 Identifying & adopting new technologies to enhance well productivit y in matured fields to sustain production
 Ensuring an effective Reservoir Engineering capability for the Business Unit through allocation and development of Reservoir
Engineering Staff
 Developing and researching new techniques and approaches related to reservoir development, including infill wells, work

 Played a significant leadership role in spearheading Reservoir Management in a highly matured field of Ankleshwar with
current recovery of approx. 49% to sustain the production level through in-fill drilling and identification of suitable layers with
remaining oil from CO/CHFR logs in sub-optimal producers for WOR jobs
 Implemented Rigless and Rig operations, including perforation, production logging, coiled tubing, stimulation, well testing,
sampling, wire line at Oil, Gas and Water Injection/Disposal wells
Chief Manager (Reservoir) - Reservoir Monitoring and Field Development
 Conceptualized& implemented re-development plan of the giant Offshore Oil Field of ONGC for enhancement of the ultimate
recovery from the existing reservoirs and development of unexploited oil & gas reservoirs
 Steered execution of projects on:
o Improvement of Oil recovery through installation of Electrical Submersible Pumps in Bombay High
o Reservoir Voidage Management in Bombay High South through Water Injection

Lime Stone Reservoir of Mumbai High South (well wise and field as a whole) through Classical Reservoir Engineering
techniques as well as reservoir simulation

 Conducted Phase Behavior Studies (PVT Studies) of Hydrocarbon systems ranging from Normal Black Oil to Dry Gas Systems
 Streamlined EOS parameters to match PVT parameters estimated from molar composition data, using EOS-PAK and CMGPROP

 Made vital contribution in technological up-gradation of the PVT Laboratory at IRS Ahmedabad, with reference to Organic
