2. Costumes
Following the genre of my music (pop) I have decided to go with
something that will fit the genre.
All the other pop artists wear very bright clothes that are usually up to date
with fashion. Therefore, I am going to chose something along these lines
of clothing.
Here are some examples:
3. Costumes
I want my actor to wear something bright coloured to fit with the genre,
however something darker so that it adds a bit of mystery to the actor.
This is also shown in the song and the album cover.
Therefore, I have chosen for my actor to wear black skinny jeans. I have
chosen jeans as they are in fashion at the moment, fitting in with the pop
genre.
4. Costumes
Next is the hair style of the actor. Following the pop genre which is very up
to date with fashion they are going to have a popular hair cut.
They will have something on the lines of this picture. Having it stuck up
but to the side and looking messy. This seems to be the trend for men at
the moment so should fit it nicely with my genre.
Ideally I would have liked someone with light coloured hair (blond) as
some of the artists today have this colour hair in this style. However, I
cannot get anyone with this colour hair in time and brown hair is not too
far off.
5. Costumes
Next I am going to get my actor to wear a black shirt with a grey hoodie.
Most of the time he will have to hoodie unzipped therefore showing the
black underneath.
I have chosen a black shirt to portray the abstract vibe from the album
cover and from the album cover.
The grey hoodie is there as one of the bright colours which are found very
common in the pop industry.
6. Costumes
Finally, the shoes.
I have decided to go for some white shoes as another bright colour.
As you can probably already tell I have gone for a black and white theme
for my actor. This is because the song is about love and not letting
someone go which isn’t the happiest of songs. Therefore, having black and
white connotes this sort of feel.
Hopefully when the actor has all of this gear on he will look the part and fit
in with the music and the genre of the song.
