14. Since I wanted my video to be
personal, I wanted to choose a
song that really connects to that
feeling. After finding three
relevant songs, I decided to go
with Non Believer since it’s the
most heartfelt out of the three
and the lest upsetting.

Editing
Pictures of
my family will
pop up in
flashbacks
for effects.
The edited
picture of lucky
will be edited
within the
video during
editing.
The locations
will be set in
college.
The
subject of
[psychosis
will be
included
within
The video will be
dedicated
towards those
with psychosis
Since the song is about
whether to believe in
something or not, it’s acts as
a question to the audience
whether to believe in mental
health or not
The style of the
video will be
mainly
consisting of
walking and
dancing down
the hallway.
It includes a very
simple rhetorical
question
The techniques I will be
using will be mainly
walking as well as
running in a panic frenzy
Since this is
a video
about
psychosis,
it may be
personal to
some
audience.
The style is pretty simple,
however there is a personal
strong atmosphere included
I use very
simple
poses in
order to
bring
attraction
to the
crowd.
The branding for my video will
be the distinctive dance moves,
as well as the shocked looks on
my face.
The camerawork featured will be
simple shots, no complex filming,
just shots that follow mw down the
corridors and stairs.
I will not be lip syncing any of
the lyrics as this is Hannah
Reid’s voice and not my own.
The actions all link
to one individual
story, as the
message of the
song entices within,
it’s about whether to
trust something or
not.
It will
follow
in time
order
It may take
several
attempts to
get it right
but all the
progress
counts as
hard work
I will use
premier pro to
add the music
as well as
putting the
separate shots
together in one
sequence.
The tone will be upbeat and
bright, however, a gloomy tone
will be involved.
Since London
Grammar are a
pop indie band, a
storyline will
follow with the
song, in this
case, a severe
case of
psychosis
A choreographed
dance will be
included as well
as the video goes
on.
16. Since London Grammar is a indie
pop band, I will use this
convention to create a storyline
with the lyrics as wells as a
choreographed dance and
actions that follows the story in
order to show awareness of
psychosis.
17. These are sketches of
what the dance moves
and poses will look like
within the video, these
are just simple
sketches and are just
drafts of what is to be
expected.
18. These animations are videos of the
psychotic voice inside my head and
this is what in my mind it looks like,
I used Photoshop to construct this
by layers and frame animation.
19. This PNG is a picture of my dead
dog Lucky, when I has heavily
under first episode psychosis
symptoms, I used to see
hallucinations of losing Lucky, as
well as his ghost appearing. I used
Photoshop again to edit an initial
picture of Lucky by cutting him out
of the initial picture, then dye the
picture blue. I then made the
opacity thinner so that he is see
through like what people think
ghosts look like, it’s ironic. Then, I
used the brush tool with a thin
opacity to make a surrounding
glow around him to make him
radiate spiritual atmospheres.
20. These photos will be used in my video as positive flashbacks
as well as grieving flashbacks. My Grandad, my auntie and
my pet dog are all dead, but my toddler cousin Rory is still
with us today, he makes me happy everyday and is the very
reminiscence of my Grandad. My auntie died first from
multiple sclerosis, which ate at her strength everyday. Next
was my Grandad, who was suffering from multiple heart
conditions such as a stroke and heart attacks. Finally, my pet
dog Lucky, who died of a number of health complications
such as a stroke and leg failure. With my psychosis, I tend to
have hallucinations of them, but not anymore as much.
21. • Working with others to film: Instead of it being just me
contributing to this video, I will need the help of others like
my friends Harry & Olivia, so I will ask them if they
wouldn’t mind helping me film my video and, like
scratching each others backs, I will help film theirs in
return.
• Locations: I will film at place where cameras are not
restricted and where’s the most safest parts of the college
such as the hallways, balconies and the stairs.
• How to make the video look good: I will use the tripod
to angle the camera at different points of view, as well as
using the zoom tool on the camera to make the image
feel intense and personal.
• Props: I will use the following props to make my video:
• Camera
• Tripod
• Camera Crew
• Decided Locations
I will need these to construct my video as these are the
essentials in order to film.
• Costume choices: I will use my yellow white collar shirt
to show my everyday style: casual sheek, as well as blue
leggings and casual blue converse shoes.
22. •
• Avoid restricted zones: I will film at places
where every student is welcome.
• Find a clear version of song: Try to find a
song with no computer glitches or bugs and
that is good quality reproduction.
• Restricted props: I will not be using any
props which may prove to be illegal such as
guns, weapons etc. this may cause harm
and offence to the public.
• Certain scenery: Since college is mainly a
simple building, there is not much scenery
to film, but for the sake of it being family
friendly, I will stick to the college.
• Timings: Since most of the days at college
are proved to be very busy, I need to pick
certain times of the day to film where it is
less busy and loud. I will chose lesson
times.

LONDON GRAMMAR'S MUSIC HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS "A BLEND OF AMBIENT, ETHEREAL AND CLASSICAL SOUNDS"[29] WITH MELANCHOLY
GUITAR, SOARING VOCALS, AND PLAINTIVE LYRICS. HANNAH REID'S POWERFUL, HAUNTING VOCALS, PROMINENT ON ALL OF LONDON
GRAMMAR'S TRACKS RELEASED TO DATE, ARE OFTEN COMPARED TO THOSE OF JUDIE TZUKE AND FLORENCE WELCH. THE SONGS ARE
A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT AS REID EXPLAINS: "I WRITE THE LYRICS AND THE TOP LINES. BUT THE SONGS INITIATE FROM ALL THREE OF
US. DOT WILL WRITE A PIANO PART OR A MUSIC SCORE. DAN WILL ADD SOME GUITARS.” SHE DESCRIBES THE SONGS AS "EMOTIONALLY
AFFECTED" AND SAID THAT SHE "WRITES ABOUT PEOPLE WHO COME IN AND OUT OF MY LIFE.

Meaning
The song is basically calling
out the message that its up to
you whether you believe in
that someone or not or
whether you should trust them
It also reflects on
how to love
someone
however, you
need their trust
and belief
It also means that a
case love includes
belief and trust, and
that they don’t know if
they should
Content
Duration
Style
PaceThe content
within the
track mainly
consists of 3
verses and 6
choruses, all
put together
makes it the
best personal
song I’ve
heard. The
way it is
structured is
very
organized and
clear.
Also, the content of the
song basically describes
one clear topic: Believing.
They all relate to the same
talk.
Within this song,
there is also an
element of effects
because during the
chorus, Hannah
travels through many
colorful tunnels up
until a ground.
The duration of the song is
about 4 mins long, which is
good because the timings of
the chorus and the verses is
good and well organized.
The style of the song
seems very abstract, as
well as relaxing within
the instrumental parts.
The style also indicates
that there is a sad story
in a way that there is an
unhappy ending.
There is a feeling of loss
and emotion within this
song, its very personal
so it pretty much hits the
minds of the audience.
If it was at slow
pace, it could be
too easy for them
to spot because
usually in music
videos, the artist
would tend to
keep the
message a secret
in order for the
audience to figure
out, there is no
right or wrong
answer.
The pace it at the usual
steady pace, not slow,
not fast, at the perfect
speed.
If it were at fast
pace, then the
thought taken in
by the audience
would be hard to
adapt because
they wouldn't’t
understand at
that speed.

33. Props: I will use the following
props in my video:
• Computer
• Library Book
These props are crucial at the
beginning and the end because it
helps with the story and the focus
of the plot.
Costume: I will be wearing a
woolly yellow/white collar jumper
with blue denim jeans and blue
denim converse shoes, as well as
black glasses. I chose this design
because I want my character to
war everyday clothes and also
show that being smart is their
personality.
