Working Title:
One too many?
Audience:
Audience is 15+ how I got this was from the bbfc website and compared my idea for what I wanted
with for my project knowing that since the use of alcohol and glorifying it would make the film 15+
this meant that it would have to go by that guidelines. Although would be subtitle because that is
my age range im going for.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
What I plan to do is utilize the new cameras to show off the best of what they can do after the
experiment I saw that having a close up in the right lighting so I will use this to show off and
hopefully make some of the camera shot really good for cinematic effect. What ill do from my
primary research is put little Easter eggs in each shot so the everyone may see different things
In each shot making it repalyable and making it get lots of attention because will se things in each
shot diffent to each other.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The brief was we couldn’t talk have the line “that wasn’t supposed to happen” and show a clock or
a watch. What Im planning to do is 2 students/ adults coming back from Uni/ work. And desiding
how to end the night is by drinking. Don’t know if it’s a competition drinking or just drinking casually
because it’s the end of the day.
Also in this story it will time laps a whole montage of them drinking and having fun. With the
clocking coming in with the montage with a time laps seeing the watch. While all of this is
happening we see each of the protagonists getting more and more drunk. With lots of close up
shots of them poring more and more drinks in close ups and lots of funny/ different ways of
drinking. In all of this though they are still having fun. At the end one of the two friends is going to
fall to the ground and “pass out” then the other friend will look over and say the line given and soon
just in the after credits scene see him dragging his friend out the room.
Production Techniques (approx. 150 words)
Post producing will have to be a key part with things like the time laps and the whole montage
having to be made in post but have enough shots to make it at least a minute long. In doing so I
have to find some backing music that may fit and also aid this theme and vibe of the work. As well
as the shots will be done in such a way that that it puts the ideas into context of what I want to get
across. With not too much but certainly not to little. I want to use close ups mainly on the drinks
and what they’re drinking than on them. Locations I’ll use is y house because that probably the
best place to be filming something like this.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan to evaluate my work by using the comments on the video when I post it on YouTube as well
as getting some 1st hand fed back strait back as soon as the video is shown and the class has
seen t. because I want my film to be full of Easter eggs meaning people will see something new
every time. And maybe after a coupe of views see if they notice any references to my other work.
