A description of how Zoom and Blackboard are used to provide remote instruction.

2. Keep the class flow!
• Educational Psychology will still take place on Tuesday’s and
Thursday’s from 11:00 am – 12:20pm.
• Students will use the Zoom Platform to meet.
• All assignments and announcements will take place on Blackboard.

3. Students login to Zoom, and are encouraged to use their
video functions so we can all connect “face-to-face.”

4. I can see a list of participants that are in the chat, in order to take
attendance for the day. Students can chat to everyone in the course
during the lecture, or message me privately.

5. Students can use the “raise their hand” function so
I can still ask questions and facilitate student class
discussions in the course

6. I use the “screen share” function for my PowerPoint
Presentations so students can follow along with the lecture
without having to divert their focus to another screen.

7. On Blackboard, announcements can be posted about
changes to the course or when we are meeting.

8. Assignments can be posted and submitted through
Blackboard.

9. I frequently use the e-mail function to contact my students. This allows me to
send a message directly to their inbox rather than waiting for them to login to
Blackboard to receive information. Go to: Course Tools  Send Email  All Users
