Students in the Educational Psychology class will continue to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 12:20 pm using the Zoom platform. All assignments and announcements will be placed on Blackboard. The instructor will take attendance and facilitate discussions using Zoom's chat, raise hand, and screen sharing functions to maintain the regular class flow remotely.

Social media in PE presentation
This document discusses a study on the use of social media, specifically Facebook and YouTube, in physical education (PE) classes at a high school. A survey of 45 PE students found that most use Facebook and YouTube in their daily lives and see benefits to using them for PE, such as increased accessibility to course content and discussion. However, some reported drawbacks like distractions. Overall, social media was found to increase students' homework completion and understanding of PE content. - 2. Keep the class flow! • Educational Psychology will still take place on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 11:00 am – 12:20pm. • Students will use the Zoom Platform to meet. • All assignments and announcements will take place on Blackboard.
- 3. Students login to Zoom, and are encouraged to use their video functions so we can all connect “face-to-face.”
- 4. I can see a list of participants that are in the chat, in order to take attendance for the day. Students can chat to everyone in the course during the lecture, or message me privately.
- 5. Students can use the “raise their hand” function so I can still ask questions and facilitate student class discussions in the course
- 6. I use the “screen share” function for my PowerPoint Presentations so students can follow along with the lecture without having to divert their focus to another screen.
- 7. On Blackboard, announcements can be posted about changes to the course or when we are meeting.
- 8. Assignments can be posted and submitted through Blackboard.
- 9. I frequently use the e-mail function to contact my students. This allows me to send a message directly to their inbox rather than waiting for them to login to Blackboard to receive information. Go to: Course Tools Send Email All Users (or you can select individuals) Send Email
