Course outline
This half day workshop is a great introduction to the role
of team leader. It explores what you need to be, know
and do in order to be successful in leading a
high-performing team.
Objectives
On completion of the course, you will be able to:
- recognise what is required of you in order to be a
great leader
- explain how the roles of manager and leader fit
together effectively
- balance your activities in order to manage your
team, the task and the individual team members
- identify areas for personal development
Attendees
This course is aimed at those aspiring to become a team
leader who would like to gain an understanding of what
such a role entails. It would also benefit those who are
relatively new into the role who would like to expand their
understanding of how the team leader can impact on the
productivity of the team.
