2. Definition: Censorship
Is the act of suppressing information from the public due to self protection, or big
corporations protection.
3. Example 1: Withholding information
When the media holds back information and refuses to make it public.
Example: One of the most important and interesting examples is North Korea. It
keeps real information from their citizens and changes information to seem as the
best country in the world, when it’s actually one of the poorest and more damaged
countries in the world.
4. Example 2: Altering Information
When media changes information to protect themselves from public reactions, and
benefit from the lies.
Example 1: Kennedy’s death was blamed on Lee Harvey Oswald,the accident was
during a Texas presidential parade and the ex president was shot 3 times, one in
the neck, and the killer one in the head.
A month ago an ex government agent confessed in while dying that a partner of his
killed the president and that it was an inside job.

5. Example 3: Destroying Information
When the media covers information to the public and changes the story.
Example: 9/11 Pentagon Plane Crash. Albert N. Stubblebine III is a retired Major
General in the United States Army. He worked at the Pentagon for many years He
said that he can prove that the Pentagon was not hit by a plane, he said the media
was covering up very important information regarding the events that happen in
9/11.

6. Example 4: Self- Censorship
When journalists makes a decision not to say or write something because it might
cause problems or offend someone.
