2. Target audiences for my music magazine are teenagers/young adults between ages 16-25. the
magazine would appeal to both females and males, with the interest in hip-hop/ pop genre.
During the making of my magazine, I’ve created a focus group of the same age ranges as the
target audience this gave me the ability for them to tell me what their thoughts were in the
production stage. They helped me pick colours and best photos which were later put in the
magazines as well as given me feedback on many of my drafts. This has helped me to produce a
final piece which will appeal to my target audience.
