1. The first shots I saw in Ellie Gouldings video was location shots, I think these set the scene
more and also break it up from just being of the star or narrative. I also like the effect of
colour over the top, I think it adds a fun theme which reaches our target audience of younger
adults, I also think it match's this song as they are having fun and this would also work our
video. Also as we have decided to use colourful lips this would match this.
2. In these shots we have seen clips of groups of friends
messing around, I think this would suit our narrative as
we want to show that she is enjoying herself, I also like
the way it matches the performer with the colours.
In this video we have also
seen clips of lips, we like the
shots of her putting lipstick
on, but we want the lips to
stand out more, so think we
will use more extreme close-
up’s.
Finally I have also
seen shots of a
skateboard, I think
the use of this gives
the artist a more cool
edgy theme. We also
want to give our
artist the same
image as Ellie
Goulding so plan to
use these.
