3. A computer server is a system that gives information and
access to the resources, data, services, and programs to
other computers (clients) over a network. Whenever a
computer shares its resources with other computers, it is
considered a server. There are different types of servers
which include web servers, mail servers, and virtual

4. Servers can be considered as dedicated to their function.
They only perform their server task. A single
multiprocessing operating unit enables a single computer
to execute several programs at the same time. In this
regard, the server can also be referred to as the program
that is managing the resources than the entire computer.
5. There is a system that can provide resources and use them
from another system at the same time. This is called an
individual system. In this regard it can be concluded that
device could be both a server and a client at the same time.
6. One of the examples of the first server is
the mainframe computer or the
minicomputer. Minicomputers were much
smaller than in size than of the mainframe
computers. But still, they ended up
becoming much larger than desktop
computers.
7. • A type of middleware, a software
that connects two other separate
applications.
