1. EDITING EXPERIENCE
As a group we had decided that we didn’t want to use iMovie this year when editing our video as
we wanted to have the more up to date effects and transitions as although it was a different
layout we found that Final cut was more beneficial that iMovie was last year. So far this has
been helpful as the facilities that we have available to us have made it a lot easier when we
wanted to put our ideas into action and especially when it came to the lip-synching as we were
able to look at each clip in more detail and be more specific with our video.
2. MATCHING THE FILMING WITH THE LYRICS
• As a group we had decided that we didn’t want to use iMovie this year when
editing our video as we wanted to have the more up to date effects and
transitions as although it was a different layout we found that Final cut was
more beneficial that iMovie was last year. For lip-synching in particular this
was a huge help as we were able to look in more detail and be more careful
on where we placed our locations that we sung in. It was a lot more difficult

time. The lip-synching we had decided were mainly for when we had a
chorus and the beginning as then we had more of a choice where we could
place our locations. We had a lot of difficulty with this and are continuing to
perfect our timing for our video.
3. OVER-ALL EDITING EXPERIENCE
• We decided when we had started editing that we would place our
locations in the order of time of day and where we thought they
would fit best we changed this around a lot because we found that
some places fit better with the music and that some of the lyrics
worked with different clip, also that some shorter clips worked better
where the music speeds up towards the chorus. So far our editing
experience has been fairly straight forward after practicing with the
software last year as it gave us more of an insight of what we were
capable of doing in our video. As we changed to final cut pro I think
at some points this may have slowed us down slightly as we had to
quickly learn where all the tools and
