3. Our Pitch for the song was created on Microsoft PowerPoint. It aided us in
getting the song. We used photos and sound to make it more interesting for
the audience and help convince our idea was good.
4. These photos were taken with a stills camera and show the photos of
our location, they were used in our PowerPoint.
5. After writing a shot list and making a
storyboard we made test footage of
some of the shots. This video shows the
footage we made. We used a
camera, tripod and a torch with a
reflector. We tested out the silver and
gold light reflector sides to decide which
we wanted for our final video.
6. These
images were
taken with a
stills camera.
We were
taking test
shots for our
video. We
used the
reflector to
experiment
with light for
the video.
7. We filmed our music video using a camera and tripod. We also used a torch
and reflector.
8. The images below show us editing our project. We used the
timeline to assemble our shots and added transitions and
filters. We could sync to the track easily with this. We used
adjustment layers for the black and white and colour filters.
We added an adjustment layer to create an iris around the
video which darkened the edges of the video. We used the
solarize effect on the guitar solo scene. We used slowmotion on the bin being kicked over for dramatic effect.
9. Originally we intended there to be
two colours in the filters over our
video but because we ran out of time
we could only use one colour. We
used an adjustment layer for the
video and altered the colour balance
for the middle section. The rest of
the video either has normal colour or
black and white which we used to
separate the narrative from the
artist’s performance.
10. For our digipak we started out taking photos of Jason then put them into Adobe
Photoshop and added effects. One of the photos was panoramic and upon
editing it film grain, motion blur and lens flare was added. We changed the grass
to make it stand out more by darkening the edges. We used the lens flare again
for the front to continue the imagery. We managed to take a photo of the plane
while we were out and used that as well.
We found a font for the back
of the digipak which fit the
rock style. We added copyright
information and company
logos to make it look authentic
and to the spine as well. We
used the grass theme
continuously also.
11. For our magazine advert we used smart sharpen
to make the image clearer and altered the colour
balance and contrast. We changed the grass to
make the edges darker to look more effective.
We added lens flare to continue the theme. We
used a font that fit the rock genre. We added
company logos and a release date. There were
buildings in the background which we removed
with the clone stamp tool.
