with light, lean and lethal forces tailored to what the commander-
in-chief needs. … We need doctrine that allows us to fight on
arrival. We need airmen with an expeditionary mindset to organize

protection, the right support, the right communications, the right
command and control so that we can get the air tasking order, fit in
