REMEDIATION
 Sometimes referred to as “reteaching”
 Corrects misconceptions or errors in
understanding of recently taught concepts
 Needs often Identified through formative
assessments
 Ideally done early in the learning process
before skill is formally assessed or other
subsequent skills are introduced
INTERVENTION
 Is often identified as a formal process for
helping students who are struggling ,
where instructional approaches are
implemented around every specific skill
deficits and where progress is regularly
tracked
Intervention Strategies for Students
at Risk in Distance Learning
A. Teachers-Learners-Parents Relationship
B. Teaching Strategies and learning
Instruction
C. Diversity of Learners and Assessment
Teacher-Learners-Parents Relationship
Create a support channels such as facebook
,messenger, group chats and other social media
platforms
Frequently communicate to the students , give extra
time and efforts to reach them, use the time to
connect by giving assistance, queries, and even a
short talk
Parent- Teacher/ Guardians Partnership for distance
learning
Learning Instructions and Teaching Strategies
 Develop and provide localize instructional video
lesson and learning materials like learning activity
sheets LAS and books, modules as supplementary
resources
 Utilize DEPED channels such as TV and Radio
Modify activities which suit to the students level of
learning capabilities
Learning Instructions and Teaching Strategies
 Use Differentiated instructions according to student’s
learning style , make it clear and simple and easy to
understand
 Application and connection of Learning task in real
life situations
Use of available resources at home for performance
tasks
Diversity of learners and Assessment
 Make sure to engage all the students in the
assessment process
Provide activities with gamified online learning
platforms
Integration of learning task with other subject areas to
lessen student’s time In accomplishing outputs
Make your quiz or test interactive and easy to access
give specific and clear instructions

REMEDIATION  Sometimes referred to as “reteaching”  Corrects misconceptions or errors in understanding of recently taught concepts  Needs often Identified through formative assessments  Ideally done early in the learning process before skill is formally assessed or other subsequent skills are introduced
  • 5. INTERVENTION  Is often identified as a formal process for helping students who are struggling , where instructional approaches are implemented around every specific skill deficits and where progress is regularly tracked
  • 6. Intervention Strategies for Students at Risk in Distance Learning A. Teachers-Learners-Parents Relationship B. Teaching Strategies and learning Instruction C. Diversity of Learners and Assessment

Teacher-Learners-Parents Relationship Create a support channels such as facebook ,messenger, group chats and other social media platforms Frequently communicate to the students , give extra time and efforts to reach them, use the time to connect by giving assistance, queries, and even a short talk Parent- Teacher/ Guardians Partnership for distance learning

Learning Instructions and Teaching Strategies  Develop and provide localize instructional video lesson and learning materials like learning activity sheets LAS and books, modules as supplementary resources  Utilize DEPED channels such as TV and Radio Modify activities which suit to the students level of learning capabilities

Learning Instructions and Teaching Strategies  Use Differentiated instructions according to student’s learning style , make it clear and simple and easy to understand  Application and connection of Learning task in real life situations Use of available resources at home for performance tasks
  • 10. Diversity of learners and Assessment  Make sure to engage all the students in the assessment process Provide activities with gamified online learning platforms Integration of learning task with other subject areas to lessen student’s time In accomplishing outputs Make your quiz or test interactive and easy to access give specific and clear instructions
