complex hospital outpatient departments (HOD) utilizing in-depth knowledge of EPIC
software. Coordinate the design and build of Orders and Ordersets for the Mercy Epic System.
Maintained application certification for Inpatient Orders and HOD
 Implementation- Subject matter expert, at the elbow and call center support for go-
live activities at multiple implementations of Epic, facilitating end-user education,
acceptance and issue resolution.
 Optimization- Analyze facility requests, execute build according to approved
change control processes while supporting system standardization, develop and

Project change to using Epic, transferred to the Orders Team to design and develop Orders,
physician and HOD workflows, preference list, and build needed for Implementation of the
Electronic Medical Record for the Mercy sites.

- Being a QA coordinator
- Assist in the coordinatingthe 1st two MercyHeart Conferences,
- Became in charge of coordinatingthe 1991 and 1993 Mercy Heart Conferences. At
that time I was the resourceperson fortheQuinton Computer system, andIABP’s.
 In 1995, I startedworking part time in theElectrophysiology laband became full time in
1996. In this EP lab, we hada lot of“Consignment”leads and devices, so we didnot
always have arepresentativefrom the company there. Welearnedto runthe
programmers andthe PSA’s. We scrubbed in with the doctors andran theEP Med
system and EPT ablation machine.
 In 1998, I transferred to theOR and became theAnesthesia Supervisor. I wasresponsible
for maintaining theanesthesia machines, and all theirotherequipment. I assisted with
ordering their supplies. I met with salesrepsandcoordinatedin-serviceswith the
anesthesiadepartment with new drugs, anesthesiaproducts. I wasin chargeof

operational andcapital budget, doing theanesthesia tech working schedules, and doing
evaluations. I also workedwith variousdepartments in gettingthe ORY2K ready.
 Fall of 2000-February2001, Managerthe Post-Anesthesia RecoveryRoom, alongwith
anesthesia
 February2001-ElectrophysiologyLab StaffNurse. Became proficient using Equipment
such as EP med,EPT, CARTO machine for3Dmappingof tachycardias.
August, 2002- April 2004, I becamesupervisorofthe CCLandEP lab. Responsibilities included
working in the EP and CCL, patient charging followingcodingguidelines,managing theEP
schedule and trouble shoot both EP andCCLscheduling conflicts. I scheduledall EP cases
through the PHS hospital scheduling system.
