• Enroll and placed GPS devices on youth. Track and locate youth when
they are in abscondence. Notify the appropriate staff about youth
whereabouts. Maintain a record system to keep track of youth who have
active Custody Order Warrants. Do a daily report on each youth when we
go out in the community to locate youth who has a Custody Order
Warrants against them. Performs administrative duties and technical work
to support its operations that applies to managers, supervisors, and
higher-graded specialists.
• Maintain a safe environment while a youth is being transport to court,
hospitals, Group Homes and Youth Service Detention Center, Schedules
appointments for meetings, orientation sessions, and conferences.
Coordinate activities for residents of care and treatment facilities. Assess
client needs and design and implement rehabilitation programs that may
include personal and vocational counseling, training, and job placement.
• Coordinate efforts to locate youth with the Washington DC Metropolitan
Police Department, Maryland Sheriff Department and with other law
enforcement agencies that assist us in handling Custody Warrants for
