1 Director Explain his ideas to the team for them to have
full understanding of what they are doing and
also share the roles amongst them, this is
important because if they do not understand the
idea problems will arise later in the production
stage and that is very bad for business as a lot of
money could be lost
2 DoP (also the
producer) /Director
Storyboard the idea and sketch out how it will
look. It will also stand as a guideline for us to
follow when filming

2. 3 Assistant Director Source locations that are suitable for the idea to
be filmed in and get permission to film there.
And create a shooting schedule.
4 Cam operator/
Director/Assistant

Book camera and equipment’s
Source talent and get their consent to be used
on the ident.

Edit the whole thing together to make it look
acceptable as an ident. The reason that this is
the directors job as well is due to the fact that it
was his creative idea so therefore this means
that he will know how exactly the director would
want it to be edited however the director will
receive help from the assistant director.
