Key Skills
 Fiber Optic Network, Power Line Carrier Communication and Pilot Cable: Plan and handle fiber optic
solutions for various departments. Responsible for planning, supervising and maintaining fiber cable including
voice and data and supervising and maintaining all data communications systems over pilot cables.
 Fault Attendance: Attend fault for OF cables .Maintain MTTR and network availability. Maintain tools as
Splicing machine, OTDR, LSPM, testers and tool kits, and ensure ready to use at all time. Obtain the best
optimal useful life of tools and attend follow up defects and emergency call duties related to fiber optic.
 Reporting: Prepare all required reports/feedback such as daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly reports. KPI,
achievements and others.
 Procurement & SAP: Responsible for the planning and budgeting for procurement of new fiber optic cables,
test equipment for fiber optic cables. Handle all required project and operation related material, inspection,
and storage through SAP system. Prepare Project budget / CAPEX requirement of OFC Project for Row
Material and execution as per the survey done with Planning, O&M or as per planning inputs provided.
 Asset Management: Implement up to date Assets Management methodologies in line with the
Departmental/Divisional/Corporate methodologies in order to obtain the best optimal useful life of asset
while maintaining the strategic spares and asset security at all time.
 Issue Resolution: Evaluate and analyze equipment/system failures, abnormalities, shortcomings and
irregularities to identity the root causes and take immediate corrective as well as permanent preventive
measures.
 Cost Optimization: Identity opportunities for cost reduction and cost optimization in all projects and
activities.
 Quality Procedures and Compliance: Support in development/review of the necessary quality procedures for
telecommunication networks to enhance reliability. Ensure compliance of the department, corporate
governance and international standards like ISO 9001: 2008.
 Corporate Excellence: Responsible for continuously innovating and fulfilling the requirements of driving the
