This job involved both customer service and project management. This is a custom equipment
manufacturer for the poultry industry. Big Dutchmen stocks over a million parts in their warehouse
and the challenge was categorizing the need and then identifying the part. The job also was quoting
large poultry systems including high density, high production chicken systems as well as cage free
designs. Once these systems became an order my job as project manager was to organize,
expedite shipments and communicate daily with on-site installers.
2. Project Manager, Automation Specialists, Inc. Holland, Michigan 06/2004-08/2005
My function was a general manager for a custommachine builder. Customers weresecond and
third tier automotive vendorsas well as some area furniture manufacturers. This required monitoring
up to 50 customer projects and providing weekly excel spread sheet updates. I was the answer
person on all projects, hosting group and individual meetings plus quoting new projects. Daily
communication was essential with each builder on the floor for purchasing and construction
progress.

accessory products on hospital carts and brought them into production. I also developed a

that I have a patent.
