Founded and operated as VP in charge of production and field installation for the Company
which specialized in custom storefronts,signage and fixtures made of specialty metals and glass,
including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, for retailers such as Lenscrafters, Polo, Kirklands,
Vitamin World, Claires Boutiques, Childrens Place, Boston Trader, J.Peterman, J Crew,
Contempo Casuals, Fisher Development ,The Gap. Metalfronts has also done entire Malls
including Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales, Great Mall of the Plains in Olathe, Kansas, Jersey
Gardens in Elizabeth N.J. Metalfronts also supplied subcontractors and contractors with a line of
extruded storefront metals which I designed.
The company grew to occupy a 6,000. sf facility with as many as 12 employees along with out
sourcing and subcontracting installation work during peak seasons.
In addition to designing all internal business systems, sourcing and establishing vendor
accounts(glass, metal, vinyls, wood, painting, powder coating, labor force. Created sales and
marketing materials, including building a web site, brochures, attending trade shows, I designed,
sourced and purchased a complete set of aluminum dies to run our extrusions
and a pressure fit door rail system for 1/2” tempered glass. As an owner daily responsibilities
included operating budgets, purchasing tools, trucks equipment and maintaining inventories.
Operated/ maintained /installed all machinery.

Also started a woodworking/fixturing division.
Design, layout, pricing, bidding and negotiating as well as building and installing storefronts,
fixtures, happened on a daily basis.
Vice President Manufacturing- New Jersey, Florida
Dynaflair Corporation, a manufacturer of storefront and pharmacy security closures.
Implemented start up of U.S. manufacturing facility, supervise and schedule 2 shifts with over 50
shop employees.
Negotiate for building lease and research purchase of machinery, plant layout, hiring and training
of personnel, Establish and implement work and job Safety Programs including interface with
OSHA.
Product design and redesign for performance and profit increase. Safety interlock switch design
and patent applied for.
Source and negotiate with materials suppliers.
Set up of nationwide& international installation and service network
Reduce inventory by implementing JIT program.
Consult with owner on company purchases
Developed pricing strategies, Reduced material costs by product redesign and manufacturing
method analysis. Researched relocation areas. Determine key employees required for relocation,
researched housing etc..
Plant layout, office design and construction, machinery and fixture purchase, staffing and
training. Relocated entire facility form New Jersey to Florida (72,000sf facility) while
maintaining parallel operations with a resultant of no loss in lead time or quality to our customers.
Reinforced contact with customers by making sales calls and attending and coordinating trade
shows. Designed and built two award winning display booths (2nd and 3rd place , SPECS
1991,1992).
