Worked with company leaders to develop a 6 Sigma project hopper and utilized 6 Sigma methodologies to

Account Manager, September 2000 – September 2002
Responsible for the North America and United Kingdom Engine Business Unit turbocharger business. Lead the
commercial coordination for current product and new product introduction, customer relationship and forecasting.
Lead for customer relationship review process within North America.
Operations Manager – Cummins Midrange Engine Plant March 1999 – September 2000
Designed, implemented and led a corrective action process that drove the reduction of before-in-service defects
created by the engine assembly processes. Led cross-functional teams in the investigation and permanent
corrective actions using CACI, 7-step, and other problem solving tools. Corporate recognition of corrective action
process and requested to consult with our other worldwide manufacturing facilities. BIS improved from 12,000+
ppm to 238 ppm for the entire engine assembly. QS-9000 Element 4.14 Champion and internal auditor.
OEM Engineering Account Manager: September 1997 – March 1999
Accountable for installation and engineering issues surrounding new diesel engine application at the OEM
(Champion and Gradall). Led the resolution of delivery, quality and product design issues as experienced by the
OEM with the various engineering and manufacturing Cummins facilities. Created computer database to track all
customer issues and document the engine installation.
2. Osram Sylvania Inc. Automotive Exterior Lighting; Seymour, IN
Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer: October 1996 – September 1997
Conducted supplier related functions such as process sign off, advanced quality planning, PPAP and develop control
plans as required by QS-9000 standards. Responsible for mechanical and metal products, such as metal stampings
and headlamp adjusters. Worked closely with our engineering and suppliers to keep communications open and
projects moving in a constructive direction. Assumed lead role to find common ground between engineering
requirements and supplier capability – worked for win-win situation.
Advanced Engineering Laboratory Manager: July 1995 – October 1996
Managed and supervised the environmental engineer laboratory for the development of advanced materials, coatings
and legal certification of automotive exterior lighting. Supported multiple project teams and ensured the proper
certification tests were performed for the various lighting configurations. Personally responsible for creating and
implementing a PC based database to track and maintain testing schedules, store and recover testing/PSW
submission data. Initiate procedure and equipment improvements as needed and set the future direction of the testing
facility. Obtained A2LA lab certification. The certification permitted in-house legal certification of our automotive
lighting products.

Provided product design/applications support for hydraulic power steering pumps. Led the investigation and purchase

Responsible for product support (hydraulic motors) at major OEM accounts including the support of division profit

Advanced Engineering Lab Manager October 1990 – January 1993
Directed the engineering and product testing facility - hydraulic motors, hydrostatic steering and manual
steering gears. Installed the 1st
computer controlled endurance test stands to improve test control and
