JANKEL ARMOURING LTD – PROJECT MANAGER – AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING ‐ UK DEC 2008 ‐ PRESENT
In my role at Jankel Armouring I have managed many projects including the production and delivery of 50 Long Range
Patrol vehicles, 20 Armoured Personnel Carrier vehicles, 25 Armoured LC200 vehicles (Discreet Armoured), five Demo
vehicles and a bespoke VIP armoured vehicle. At present, I am managing the development of a new Jankel Armouring
product called the Rapid Response Vehicle, of which we are producing over one hundred units for a NATO customer. The
contract value is in excess of £15 million. To supplement the successful delivery of these products, full data packs
including technical drawings, user and maintainer manuals and project specific data were required. My role as project
manager meant that I needed to generate, review and collate this material. Current role responsibilities include:
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to plan. Managing budgets & expenditure (including target setting)
BOM management & tracking, monitoring vehicle build and development support
Supporting the definition of build books, FMEA, cash flow, Vehicle/System level technical and test specifications
Optimising vehicle performance and delivery of vehicle attributes by working closely with the Chief Engineer, Project
Engineers and the Concept design team lead to ensure delivery of the design and development of systems and
components
Maintaining relationships with supply chains associated with projects to assure supplier nomination and delivery of
components and systems on schedule for all program phases
Supporting the Project Engineers to ensure DFM and compliance with quality standards of all components and
systems
As chair of weekly project meetings, I review and manage any engineering concerns through‐out the program
Responding to requests for information or specification change with assessment of risk and cost
Managing and communicating with off‐site resource and teams including preparation and presentation of material to
support external and internal project status reviews
TOTAL AEROSPACE SOLUTIONS– DESIGN ENGINEER ‐ AUSTRALIA NOV 2003 – JUN 2008
Part of a multi‐discipline team focused on the design and manufacture of ground crew training devices for an Armed
Reconnaissance Helicopter for the Australian Defense Force and the refurbishment of static flight simulators. I was
responsible for preparing and editing technical and system engineering documents for submission to the Commonwealth
of Australia (CoA). Role responsibilities included:

personnel for the duration of major projects. At University as part of the Formula Student Racing Team, I managed the
chassis design development, vehicle manufacture and allocation of team resource. I provide strong leadership skills,
conveying confidence, presence and professionalism. As Jankel is an automotive engineering company, my mechanical
engineering background provides a depth of knowledge which assists me in making informed decisions regarding the
development of our products. I am a confident and strong communicator through all mediums.
