Summary: I have 10 years experience as a civil structural designer working with
Autocad versions 2000 through 2013, PDS, Frameworks, Microstation J (7), Tekla
Structures 15 and Navisworks Simulate. In this role I have created 3d and 2d models and
drawings of petrochemical and LNG facilities. I have made FEED packages as well as a
bill of materials. I also have 17 years experience as a field construction inspector working
on infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges and wastewater treatment plants and
city street improvements.

Title: Civil/Structural Designer. Using Autocad 2013 & Cadworx 2013 created 3d models
and construction drawings of foundations and steel structures for natural gas plants. Some

Plants. Using Autocad 2010 and Cadworx 2010. Worked on Valero Green Diesel Plant in
Norco, Louisiana.
April 2005 - July 2010 - Chicago Bridge & Iron/Matrix Engineering - Beaumont,
Texas
Title: Cad Technician II, Civil Structural Department.
Responsibilities: With limited supervision and using Autocad 2004 through 2010 created
3-D models of piles, concrete foundations and structural steel for pipe racks, platforms,
ladders and stairs. I have also worked on feed packages and material take off packages to
aid in the process of placing bids on proposed contracts. Using PDS, Frameworks and
Microsatation J worked on GPLNG-Sabine Pass, Texas. New construction of an LNG
Unloading Terminal and Re-gasification Unit. Using Tekla Structures 15 worked on a
new Hydrocracker Unit for Hunt Oil in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Also an oily sands
extraction plant - Kearl Oil Sands in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada.
April 1995 - April 2005 - Texas Department of Transportation - Port Arthur, Texas
Title: Engineering Technician 4, Engineering Department
Responsibilities: Quality Assurance/Quality Control of all phases of
construction of state highways and bridges including inspections, tests
and documentation of project records. Some being the widening of
FM 364 from Gladys Dr. to SH 105 which included a small bridge over The Lower
Neches Valley Authority Canal, the widening of SH 105 from Keith Harrow Rd. to Pine
Island Bayou, including 2 bridges over Pine Island Bayou, the addition of shoulders to
SH 124 from FM 365 to SH 73, the addition of eastbound lanes of SH 73 from I-10 to
Taylor’s Bayou. This project had 5 major bridges on it. And more recently, a concrete
overpass as well as frontage roads at the intersection of FM 365 and SH 347 and
currently, the addition of frontage roads on US 69 between Beauxart Garden Rd. and SH
347. This project includes 2 new bridges as well as the widening of 2 existing bridges
over Rhodair Gully. There are also 3 new retaining walls being installed, with 3
turnaround lanes.

Engineering Technologies) level 2, soils, concrete, and asphalt,
hazardous materials awareness program, bridge construction inspection,
nuclear moisture/density gauge, American Red Cross safety aid certification.

Responsibilities: Performing all necessary tests and inspections for
concrete, asphalt and soils on various construction projects. Some of them
were: various City of Houston wastewater improvement projects, rebar inspection,

the rebuild project of Phillips 66 in Pasadena, improvements to Oxychem, Occidental,
Exxon Baytown Olefins, Chevron Terminal in Mount Belvieu and the new construction
of Chevron Chemicals in Cedar Bayou (Twin reactor polyethylene plant, Mont Belvieu,
TX.) Also some Harris County Engineer’s projects were several small bridges throughout
the city and the additional exhibition halls to the Astrohall / Astroarena.
1988 - Dannenbaum Engineering – Austin, Texas
Title: Field Construction Inspector (Wastewater treatment tunnel project)
Responsibilities: Quality Control for plans and specifications in the construction of an 8.5
mi. wastewater tunnel, inspections of mining, concrete and soils. Specifically, performed
pre-pour inspections of rebar and formwork for placement of concrete in the tunnel liner
(1’ thick and 10’ diameter), as well as monitoring the grouting between the liner and
rock. Also, monitored the concrete pumping down to the tunnel formwork from up top.
Inspected the rock for fissures and cracks behind the mining operations. Also, once the
concrete and grouting had been completed, monitored the backfilling procedures of the
access shafts.
