URS Engineering Sr. lead Designer Houston, Texas 2008- July 2016
Lead Designer for Williams Oak Grove NGL Cryo / Refrigerant Project, Marshall
County, West Virginia - Responsibilities included design layout of Heaters, Slug
Catchers, C3+NGL Pipeline Pumps, Compressors, Separators and associated equip and
piping. PDS was used to create 3D model, plans, sections, modules and approx. 1000
isometrics. Provided on construction site support for field / construction.
Lead Designer for Conoco Water Injection (WIX) Project, Anchorage, Alaska -
Responsibilities included design layout of Water Injection Pumps and Strainers, manifold
and pump modules. Conducted approximately 50 tie-ins to existing facilities using laser
scan. PDS was used to create 3D model, plan, sections and approx. 400 isometrics. All
drawings were converted to Autocad format for client deliverable.
Jacob’s Engineering Sr. Designer Houston, Texas 2005- 2008
Designer for Motiva CFH Project, Port Arthur, Texas - Responsibilities included design
layout of Heaters, Reactor and Wash Water Drum Area areas. PDS was used to create 3D
model, plan, sections and approx. 400 isometrics. Received letter of recognition.
Williams Gas Pipeline. Sr. lead Designer Houston, Texas 2000- 2005
Lead Piping Designer for Northwest Pipeline & Energy, Pocatello, Idaho -
Responsibilities consisted of dual Solar turbine compressor units and associated piping
layout, including H.P. gas, lube oil, fuel gas, gas coolers, lube oil, cooling water,
instrument air, and hydrocarbon drain systems. Microstation 3D modeling package was
used to create plans, sections and isometrics that were used for construction. Received
letter of recognition.
Designer for Station 65, Clean Burner Project, St. Helena Parish, Louisiana -
Responsibilities included replacement of existing fuel gas system, consisting of new
coalescer /separator, 6” master meter, Unit meters, and replacement of pipe associated
with condensate storage tank restrictive orifice installation. In addition, new generator, air
storage tanks, temperature control valves, lube oil, cooling and jacket water coolers were
installed. Existing piping was replaced / rerouted to accommodate new facilities.
2. Jacob’s Engineering Sr. Designer Houston, Texas 1995- 2000
Designer for Fina Train 9 Project, Houston, Texas - Responsibilities included layout of
feed prep propylene area, splitter scrubber area and off-gas steamer area. PDS was used
to create 3D model, plans, sections and approx. 300 isometrics that were used for
construction. Received recognition letter for completing job under budget and 98%
accuracy.
Designer for BASF, 800 Block Expansion, Houston, Texas - included layout of recovery
feed surge drum, third effect evaporator and polyamide extractor expansion. PDS was
used to create 3D model, plans, sections and isometrics drawings. Received
accommodation letter for finishing project under schedule and budget.
S.I.Parsons Engineering Designer Houston, Texas 1990-1995
Designer for Shell OPII revamp project, Houston, Texas - Responsibilities included
replacement of existing facilities, installing metering equipment, exchanges and pump to
upgrade capacity and production. Plans, sections and isometric drawings were created.
Designer for Conoco LOHC project, Lake Charles, LA., - Responsibilities included
routing of two 10” lube oil lines approx. 20 miles through metering facilities and storage
area to loading dock crude tower head. Created Plans, sections, and isometrics drawings.
Ethyl Corp. Designer Houston, Texas 1987- 1990
On-site designer for Ethyl Corp. Plant, Houston, Texas - Responsibilities included
replacement or modification of existing facilities, installing metering equipment,
exchanges and pumps to upgrade production. Rebis was used to create drawings.
