Highway improvement project for the city of Westminster, CO. Scope of work
included the construction of two large bridges, numerous retaining walls &
several large box culverts. Also, curb & gutter, sidewalk, sanitary sewer, water
line to complete 2.5 miles of new highway.
The Project’s close proximity to the City of Westminster Waste Water Treatment
Plant required considerable coordination due to the massive amounts of
underground utilities involved. The scope of this Project also included a large
amount of reclaimed water & sanitary sewer line. Several river crossings were
installed along with a sanitary siphon feeding the treatment plant. Precise
coordination was crucial to the critical path of the project.
