SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Experienced in all phases of the civil construction industry supported by over 35 years of
progressive advancement. Seasoned hands-on superintendent ultimately responsible for
construction project schedule and cost controls providing a superior project on time and within
budget restrictions. Excellent communication skills with an innate ability to create a pro-active,
productive project team. Extensive knowledge of transportation, water and wastewater
infrastructure as well as commercial and institutional construction. Pride myself in
successfully completing self performing contracts nationwide as well as assignments in the UAE
and Afghanistan within Fluor.
International experience with Fluor includes 1 year with Fluor Mideast Limited, Abu Dhabi,
United Arab Emirates and over 4 years with Fluor Government Group, in Afghanistan with
LOGCAP IV Task Order 5 working on construction projects for military support.
Prior experience includes 3 years with 30 story high rise cast in place buildings – 2 pan
joist systems and 1 post tension as a retail / tenant finish out project manager as well as
base building construction assistance for owner owned company; 8 years low rise with
basement cast in place buildings; 3 years toll road construction; 7 years 2 - 4 story steel
structure buildings and 2 years school construction (locations all in Texas) as well as 5
years land fill/wastewater treatment plants and hazardous containments in Texas, New
York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Nevada, Arizona, Ohio and
Florida as the on site superintendent / project manager overseeing the overall
construction from start up mobilization to close out demobilization.

• Overseeing construction projects in northern Afghanistan including 6 LAM’s A,
Helicopter Maintenance Facilities at Bagram Air Field, a 300 man camp in FOB Kunduz
and Country Managers Office Complex.
• Team Lead of the Technical Inspection Team for the Country Engineering Department
inspecting new construction projects being performed by OCN’s (Other Country
Nationals) under the supervision of the Army Corp while also performing civil structural
inspections of cast in place concrete structures (approximately $700M)

Engineering/Construction Department – FGG performing Technical Phased Inspections
of MILCON projects throughout Theater.
2. Fluor Mideast Limited, Abu Dhabi, UAE (2008)
QAQC Manager moved to Retail Construction Manager (although day to day responsibilities
were as a Construction Superintendent)
• Al-Falah Community Development – Retail development plan review and construction
of the mall, 1.5 million meters of fill and approximately 3 square kilometers of dynamic
compaction of the natural grade prior to project put on hold.

Civil Superintendent / Lender Representative / Construction Monitor
Inspect and monitor multi-million dollar ($40M – 90M) commercial and industrial projects
nationwide on behalf of lender and/or investors. Monthly reporting of construction progress
including comparative analysis of pay applications vs. actual construction completed.
Collaboratively work with general contractors to correct any deficiencies noted during
inspections.

Constructing 10-story Indigo Hotel (plus 5 basement levels) in downtown Austin, Texas. This
project has extremely limited work area due to the building face being 8” off the property line on
2 sides and 10” on a 3rd

Responsible for mobilization of 30-50 man crews nationwide. Provide supervision as well as
technical services for all phases of construction and installation of geomembrane liner for
hazardous waste containments/county landfills. Factory representative for third party training

• Environmental clean up hazmat chemical and asbestos of a Super Fund site in Minerva
Texas and a West Texas refinery.
• HDPE hazardous landfill systems with piping & pumping collection systems for 3 blow

land fills (New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and
