Story
My co-creator and I created an app called Party Qs (see
right for description).
Starting at zero, we had nothing to lose. Our question
was: "How do we get the word out about Party Qs?"
We decided to experiment with copywriting. The goal:
create short, zippy, and attention-grabbing phrases that
people can't ignore.

Party Qs is an app for
conversation starters. It's full
of hundreds of fun, interesting
questions.
Use it for date nights, family
gatherings, work parties, and
social events.

The standard tagline was:
Ask great questions.
...Kinda boring.
What sells these days?
Sex, violence, drama, and humor.
So this is what we
came up with.
Murder awkward silence.
"That's a good question."
Date night lube.
Punch awkward silences
in the mouth.

Give to the phone addict.
Slaughter yawns.
Let's get weird.
Really.
Decapitate boredom.
