What is begging ?
Begging is the practice of imploring others to grant a
favor, often a gift of money, with little or no expectation
of reciprocation. On a stop for just about 15 seconds on
every traffic signal, we catch the sight of street beggars
(mainly a woman with an infant child or a disabled
child) who beg for money and ask to help them for the
sake of their hungry child and humanity.

Beggars don’t keep all the money for themselves.
For every street, every intersection, every shrine
and public park, there exists a mafia that forcefully
’employees’ children's and adults work for them,
by begging on road and submitting them the
money at the end of the day.

If a man works 12 hours in a day and only earn 1000 rupees, when he see
those baggers who are making the same money without no hard work by
standing along a traffic signal or shrine places , mosque, hospitals and
shopping markets.

On Large Scale:
Beggars work for mafia’s and these mafia’s are operated by criminal
groups inside or outside the country , these mafia’s may supported by
political personalities and corrupt police officers .Those criminal groups
working inside r outside the country get funded by those mafia’s and
they use money of people to spread terrorism in among them.

11. Role of police
This practice of the mafia violates Article.3 of Constitution of Pakistan,
1973, which makes it obligatory that the state shall ensure removal of all
forms of exploitation.
The police are not doing their duty, as they are not enforcing the laws
regarding beggars and criminal begging rings.
If beggar mafia get caught in any criminal activity they will go free by
offering bribe to the police officers.
12. How to resolve it
Forced beggars can be rescued through making of new and
improved legislation’s or amendments can be made in the previous one.
A strong proactive approach is needed in all law-enforcement authorities to
protect poor children from being forced into begging.
To minimize this unethical activity people should not give money to these
baggers directly it will effect mafia.

People Should provide with basic self protection rights
Public awareness campaigns have to be initiated.
Rehabilitation centers
All the railway stations, bus stands, etc must be constantly
inspected to decrease the effects of the beggar mafia.

Curse of beggars mafia is serious ,yet minimize able , problems that results are like
societal effects, cultural effect , individual effects
There are currently few laws against mafia’s to stop them but mainly its all depend
upon individuals those who have the responsibility to now who deserve that
money and who is not. and everyone should stand with this perspective it will
have a huge impact in eliminating beggar mafia
