The approach to illnesses and other medical
conditions is migrating from a treatment to a
preventative culture. Healthy habits are important,
but the most significant cornerstone of this pursuit
is consuming the correct quantities of macro and
micro nutrients to enable our bodies to function
healthy and optimally.
This notion is not new, in 400 B.C. Hippocrates
made the renowned statement:
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine
thy food”
This observation was made in a world free of aggressive
agricultural practices aimed at feeding the masses and
maximizing profit. It is now known that intensive farming
practices exhaust the nutrient levels in soil and to
compound matters the manipulation of produce aimed at
bolstering growth speeds and sizes affect the ability of fruit
and vegetables to effectively absorb nutrients.
“A Kushi Institute analysis of nutrient data from 1975 to 1997
found that average calcium levels in 12 fresh vegetables
dropped 27 percent; iron levels 37 percent; vitamin A levels 21
percent, and vitamin C levels 30 percent”
This leaves the consumer in a vulnerable place, eat more or pay
more for natural and organic produce, both these options being
beyond the financial reach of many.
This dilemma can be addressed through the use of
affordable nutritional supplements, this opportunity
was recognized by the founders of Gotha Health, who
entered the market and in time, extended their
product range to include natural (non-nutritional)
products. Their focus were regional in nature as they
had no wish to promote the business on a national or
international level.
In pursuit of its belief that the supplementary market has enormous potential
Go-Life entered the market through the acquisition of Gotha and its product
line.
In accordance with the agreement between the parties, the founders of Gotha
continued to manage the business until 1 March 2018. During this sunset phase, Go-
Life dedicated its energy to position the company strategically and to expand its
product range.
It soon became apparent that opportunities in the market were plentiful and that it would be astute to
position Go-Life to follow a wholistic approach toward medical care as this would strategically position
Go-Life to enhance value, as opposed to being confined to a producer and manufacturer of
nutraceutical, natural and supplementary products.
The health care environment is rapidly changing, primarily driven by the inhibitive cost of
medical interventions, procedures and products. In April 2017 during a seminar hosted by the Health Care Compliance

  • 2. The approach to illnesses and other medical conditions is migrating from a treatment to a preventative culture. Healthy habits are important, but the most significant cornerstone of this pursuit is consuming the correct quantities of macro and micro nutrients to enable our bodies to function healthy and optimally. This notion is not new, in 400 B.C. Hippocrates made the renowned statement: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food” This observation was made in a world free of aggressive agricultural practices aimed at feeding the masses and maximizing profit. It is now known that intensive farming practices exhaust the nutrient levels in soil and to compound matters the manipulation of produce aimed at bolstering growth speeds and sizes affect the ability of fruit and vegetables to effectively absorb nutrients. “A Kushi Institute analysis of nutrient data from 1975 to 1997 found that average calcium levels in 12 fresh vegetables dropped 27 percent; iron levels 37 percent; vitamin A levels 21 percent, and vitamin C levels 30 percent” This leaves the consumer in a vulnerable place, eat more or pay more for natural and organic produce, both these options being beyond the financial reach of many.

This dilemma can be addressed through the use of affordable nutritional supplements, this opportunity was recognized by the founders of Gotha Health, who entered the market and in time, extended their product range to include natural (non-nutritional) products. Their focus were regional in nature as they had no wish to promote the business on a national or international level. In pursuit of its belief that the supplementary market has enormous potential Go-Life entered the market through the acquisition of Gotha and its product line. In accordance with the agreement between the parties, the founders of Gotha continued to manage the business until 1 March 2018. During this sunset phase, Go- Life dedicated its energy to position the company strategically and to expand its product range. It soon became apparent that opportunities in the market were plentiful and that it would be astute to position Go-Life to follow a wholistic approach toward medical care as this would strategically position Go-Life to enhance value, as opposed to being confined to a producer and manufacturer of nutraceutical, natural and supplementary products.
