DESIGN FOR CHANGE CONTEST

FEEL


Every student of the class should get a minimum of 60% marks in all subjects
.There should be no failures in any subject in any test.

      Students should behave decently and should have good manners. They
should possess values, morals, empathy, and community responsibility.
Submission of class work, home work, assignments, projects etc should be in time
so as to get full internal marks.



IMAGINE
Average of the class will be 75% .The class shall be appreciated as excellent,
brilliant and well mannered students. These students will become role models to
other classes.

 Home work

 Smart work

 Net work” --------------------------------- SUCCESS
DO
 5 student mentors of class 7D started peering teaching to improve minimum level
of teaching. These student mentors are good in academics, behavior and good
report compared to all the students of their class. Everyday for 1 week, during
zero period i.e. 8:40am to 9:30 am, which is allotted for class teachers period and
assembly time, student mentors explained subject wise FA2 syllabus to the
underachievers.

 As the mentors also council the students about the behavior and academics, the
whole week before the exams the class is busy with peer teaching and peer
interaction. During FA2 exams the good students revised important concepts for
the next day exam.

                As a result there is a dramatic change in the performance of
underachievers from FA1 to FA2. Concepts were explained by using concept
webs, diagrams, key points etc.

SHARE
The progress of 7D students was explained to the whole school during assembly
time. Now in every class the good students are encouraged to adopt at least one
slow learner and bring a change in their academics and behavior. The
performance of the slow learners is improved in SA1.

As peer share is the wonderful method for revising concepts, all mentors also
performed extremely well in their exams and remained toppers of the class.

All parents are also happy as their wards are improving in academics. Teachers
are happy because their responsibility is shared by student mentors.

Slow learners/ underachievers are learning very quickly because their counterpart
is helping them to complete notes, assignments and projects.

  • 1. DESIGN FOR CHANGE CONTEST PEER -- SHARE FEEL Every student of the class should get a minimum of 60% marks in all subjects .There should be no failures in any subject in any test. Students should behave decently and should have good manners. They should possess values, morals, empathy, and community responsibility. Submission of class work, home work, assignments, projects etc should be in time so as to get full internal marks. IMAGINE Average of the class will be 75% .The class shall be appreciated as excellent, brilliant and well mannered students. These students will become role models to other classes. “Team work Hard work Home work Smart work Net work” --------------------------------- SUCCESS
  • 2. DO 5 student mentors of class 7D started peering teaching to improve minimum level of teaching. These student mentors are good in academics, behavior and good report compared to all the students of their class. Everyday for 1 week, during zero period i.e. 8:40am to 9:30 am, which is allotted for class teachers period and assembly time, student mentors explained subject wise FA2 syllabus to the underachievers. As the mentors also council the students about the behavior and academics, the whole week before the exams the class is busy with peer teaching and peer interaction. During FA2 exams the good students revised important concepts for the next day exam. As a result there is a dramatic change in the performance of underachievers from FA1 to FA2. Concepts were explained by using concept webs, diagrams, key points etc. SHARE The progress of 7D students was explained to the whole school during assembly time. Now in every class the good students are encouraged to adopt at least one slow learner and bring a change in their academics and behavior. The performance of the slow learners is improved in SA1. As peer share is the wonderful method for revising concepts, all mentors also performed extremely well in their exams and remained toppers of the class. All parents are also happy as their wards are improving in academics. Teachers are happy because their responsibility is shared by student mentors.
