2. Our group decided that for our ‘record label’ we would use
the same company and logo from our AS Work – we would
stick with what we know and keep to continuity. Originally I
was the one who created the ‘BCES Productions’ logo and
because people who saw our AS work also saw this logo we
thought it would be ideal to use since the audience can
identify with it. I created the logo
on Adobe Photoshop CS6 and my
group and I really liked how it
turned out. With the outer glow
effect around the text we thought
that it would effectively stand
out on the Magazine Poster.
3. Again, like the previous Production Company Logo I also created our
band’s logo this year as well – this was done on Adobe Photoshop CS6
also. We took inspiration from The 1975 because their logo is simply a
rectangle, so we decided to use an upside down triangle. I think this
connotes the genre of music we are using, which is ‘Alternative
Rock/Indie Rock’ – it leaves a sense of
enigma, like the band and the music itself
is quite unique. This logo is consistent
across our Magazine Poster and the
Digipak, and it is even featured at the end
of our Music video; this enables the
audience to identify the logo and associate
it with us.
