2. Genre and What to expect

My magazine is going to be a Gospel music
magazine considering that it is something I am very
familiar with being a Christian myself and because it
is something not many people will do.
I will be using Root as a reference to go back to in
terms of content and what it should briefly come out
looking like

3. Who?
My target audience will be 1525 year olds who are interested
in the evolution of gospel
music as many genres and
artists stem from the gospel
scene

7. Whilst doing research on Roots magazine, I was able to
briefly outline what my magazine house styles and
basic ideas will be based around. In the Root
magazine there are a lot of adverts before and
after the contents page. This taking up space. This is
a smart idea to fill pages up

8. Publishing
I found 2 publishing companies that are familiar with
this genre of music. I chose the more internationally
known one

9. This is the idea I'm
going to use for my
front cover picture. I
will hopefully have a
female artist as my
main image. And will
be interviewing her in
a Q&A format
