2. MAKE A LIST
• When you make the list you have to use it after.
• If the list is long prioritize… meaning do what has to be done first!
• If you need to make more than one list. Example: home, work, school. The average listener can process
information at a rate of about 600 to 800 words per minute.
3. SET DEADLINES
• Set a deadline for each thing and try your best to make it.
• Set the deadline for a few days before it absolutely has to be done.
• That allows you for things to get in the way and also have time for your task.
4. STOP MULTI-TASKING
• You cannot get more done when multi-tasking
• Our minds work better when we focus on one thing at a time.
5. DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITIES
• We cannot do everything.
• Delegation is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign on intelligence.
• Find competent, reliable people and share the responsibility.
6. USE YOUR DOWN TIME
• If you find yourself stuck in traffic you can prioritize your day.
• If you’re sitting at the doctors office you can write a grocery list or study for a test.
• Don’t try to use all of your down time for this, it could cause stress make you feel burned out.
• Relax sometimes.
7. REWARD YOURSELF
• When you accomplish something celebrate it!
• Don’t let the celebration get you behind.
• Find what works for you.
