Led the e-bidding for the procurement of major

machines for the region.
Handled the negotiations for the lease of quarry land
and return of land after quarry to the government.
Handled proper sale and disposal of unused materials
and properties.
Successfully attained US2M savings for Y2001 as
committed to the management and stockholders.
Developed warehousing and purchasing procedures
and automated system adopted across Blue Circle
Plants and offices in the region.

Worked closely with Global teams on alternative
energy. This resulted on development of Petcock,

During the 1980’s up to early 2000’s, the electronics

with the help of my mentors, colleagues and
dedicated staff I was able to manage the Materials
Department of the Cavite plant comprised of highly
active teams of Production Planning & Inventory
Control(PPIC), Customer Service, and Purchasing and
Warehousing staff.
I was the very 1st Filipino director in Astec Group of
companies. This opened new doors for other Filipino
executives after few years.
I was nominated and tagged by Emerson Global
Management team as “Top Caliber Talent”. All
nominated staff were identified as successors for top
executive positions in the different Emerson
subsidiaries and companies worldwide.
