SAFI and Del Monte Asia Pacific. These companies
are engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of
ketchup, spaghetti, tomato sauces, cooking oil,
beverages, and other condiments. Nutriasia is the
no.1 condiment companyin thePhilippines. It exports
products in US, the Middle East, Europe, China and
other parts of Asia.
 Stayed with Nutriasia for 7 years handling 3 major
positions.
 Handled the Strategic Procurement and Commodity
Research Department.
 Notable Accomplishments:
o Good relationship and chemistry with top
management, colleagues and staff resulting on
better performance of the Procurement team.

o Instituted the “Commodity Market Research”
function to ensure pro-active control over
commodities availability and cost.
o Spearheaded the professional training of all CPG
staff on the four pillars of Supply Management.
Four managers were qualified for CPSM exams

 We were members of the Board of Directors for the
Asian region. There were only 4 Filipino members out
of the 13 seats.
 Led the e-bidding for the procurement of major
commodities:power,energy, electricity andkilndryer
machines for the region.
 Handled the negotiations for the lease of quarry land
and return of land after quarry to the government.
Handled proper sale and disposal of unused materials
and properties.
 Successfully attained US2M savings for Y2001 as
committed to the management and stockholders.
 Developed warehousing and purchasing procedures
and automated system adopted across Blue Circle
Plants and offices in the region.
 Developed highly motivated and competent
purchasing andwarehousing teams across theregion.
 Worked closely with Global teams on alternative
energy. This resulted on development of Petcock,
Palay bagas and Metro wastes as alternative fuel for
krill dryer. This technology was implemented on all
plants of Blue Circle across the globe. And later
adopted by all other cement companies.
 Reason for leaving: Father was critically ill and has to
undergo triple heart by-pass immediately. I am the
only single amongst children. Married children were
all residing abroad with their families.

 Astec is an American multinational companyengaged
in theproductionand distributionof electronics parts
in Asia, US, and Europe.
 During the 1980’s up to early 2000’s, the electronics
industry was dominated by males and engineers. But
with the help of my mentors, colleagues and
dedicated staff I was able to manage the Materials
Department of the Cavite plant comprised of highly
active teams of Production Planning & Inventory
Control(PPIC), Customer Service, and Purchasing and
Warehousing staff.
 I was the very 1st Filipino director in Astec Group of
companies. This opened new doors for other Filipino
executives after few years.
 I was nominated and tagged by Emerson Global
Management team as “Top Caliber Talent”. All
nominated staff were identified as successors for top
executive positions in the different Emerson
subsidiaries and companies worldwide.
 I enjoyed working across alllevels of theorganization:
Philippines, the rest of Asia and the Global teams
during my stay.
 Notable Accomplishments:
o 100% customer order fulfillment
o 95% conformance to Production Schedules
o Faster shipments to the US and Europe
without additionalcost using Class-C aircarrier
instead of sea shipment.

Jan. 2007 – April 2010 Strategic ProcurementHead NUTRIASIA PHILIPPINES, INC. (Formerly UFC Phil., Inc.)  Nutriasia is a group of companies consisting of UFC, SAFI and Del Monte Asia Pacific. These companies are engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of ketchup, spaghetti, tomato sauces, cooking oil, beverages, and other condiments. Nutriasia is the no.1 condiment companyin thePhilippines. It exports products in US, the Middle East, Europe, China and other parts of Asia.  Stayed with Nutriasia for 7 years handling 3 major positions.  Handled the Strategic Procurement and Commodity Research Department.  Notable Accomplishments: o Good relationship and chemistry with top management, colleagues and staff resulting on better performance of the Procurement team.

  • 7. 7 Dec. 2000 – Dec. 2001 Sr. Vice Presidentfor Commercial BLUE CIRCLE PHIL., INC.  Blue Circle was a British multinational company engaged inmanufacturing anddistributionofcement, gypsum and other aggregate products.  We were members of the Board of Directors for the Asian region. There were only 4 Filipino members out of the 13 seats.  Led the e-bidding for the procurement of major commodities:power,energy, electricity andkilndryer machines for the region.  Handled the negotiations for the lease of quarry land and return of land after quarry to the government. Handled proper sale and disposal of unused materials and properties.  Successfully attained US2M savings for Y2001 as committed to the management and stockholders.  Developed warehousing and purchasing procedures and automated system adopted across Blue Circle Plants and offices in the region.  Developed highly motivated and competent purchasing andwarehousing teams across theregion.  Worked closely with Global teams on alternative energy. This resulted on development of Petcock, Palay bagas and Metro wastes as alternative fuel for krill dryer. This technology was implemented on all plants of Blue Circle across the globe. And later adopted by all other cement companies.  Reason for leaving: Father was critically ill and has to undergo triple heart by-pass immediately. I am the only single amongst children. But with the help of my mentors, colleagues and dedicated staff I was able to manage the Materials Department of the Cavite plant comprised of highly active teams of Production Planning & Inventory Control(PPIC), Customer Service, and Purchasing and Warehousing staff.  I was the very 1st Filipino director in Astec Group of companies. This opened new doors for other Filipino executives after few years.  I was nominated and tagged by Emerson Global Management team as “Top Caliber Talent”.
