• Mixmag magazine content Always consists of 4 different
sub heading with different topic, these are Featured
which talks about the new artist and gigs, then they have
fashion heading and tech, then it has a tunes which talks
about albums and new singles.
• Mixmag first page can be a varied option it may start
with a double page spread of a new artist or sometimes
it includes a advert for gigs or albums that are for sale.

• The audience of music magazine has no real specific
audience however The audience does lean toward males
with 72% are male then 28% of the viewer are female.
The Age of the viewers where around the age range of
24.

music this is why is attracts younger generation of
people, this maybe why it more lean toward male viewer
swell.
• They use artist which are famous dance artist which will
attract people due to the viewer knowing about the
artist or even wanting to know about the artist.

• The language used for the magazine it include maybe
less formal word, word that are simple and not
sophisticated, this make the language more related to
the music also it is easier for reader for younger people.
• Word like slang may be included for the magazine just
because it is familiar for younger people.

• The font used for the magazine where very bold and
quite cool looking font, which highlights the magazine
image and colours. The font where not formal they not
have a sans serif style as that style wouldn’t be like the
content or the images.
• They uses a varied style of font I the magazine to a large
funk font for a masthead or a smaller but stylish font for
general text.

• The layout of the Mixmag magazine are always the same,
which has a artist on the front cover then stories which
talks about the content of the magazine. The Next page
would always be the content page which give more detail

layout such as the Mixmag magazine has the same
layout with the artist or band on the front to make the

the scenery, this is due to the image being the main
attraction.

• Articles – the article used for the magazine use lots of
interesting vocab and the use of short paragraph to keep the
reader attention. They don’t use sophisticated language as
that would work with the genre. The information on the
article are use to give information to the reader in large detail.
• Adverts – the advert use all have relevance to the magazine
with adverting gigs which are similar genre related to the
magazine. The advert will always promote the magazine, also
advert on certain page with be linked with the article itself or
the reviews.
• Reviews – The reviews used for the magazine will always
promote the magazine, the reviews that is included on the
magazine will be related to the articles.

• These style of Mixmag magazine the genre they use is
the style I want to use for my magazine.
