• Seal 50 ml of ecoclean air in a 1 litre flask with a septum.
• Heat up to 60 °C and add Isovaleric acid with a syringe.
• Measure the concentration of isovaleric acid in vapour phase by GC 24 hours
after addition.
• At the final stage: Detection of isovaleric acid traces after 24 hours

Ø Close the test flask with a septum on top
Ø Add 1 µl of DMF containing 0.2 to 40 µg DMS
Ø Shake the test flask for 10 Min.

Ø Detect and compare the DMS-Peaks
