Provided technical guidance to Technical Support team, including maintenance roll outs, product

Implemented creative solution, consoling outages utilizing 2074 technology with multiple hubs
in direct line, bypassing but maintaining connectivity to internal network, maintaining remote

Reconfigured 3745 utilizing EMIF (ESCON Multiple Image Facility) methodology and
techniques, providing redundancy in 3745 and NCP (Network Control Program).
Designed and implemented Disaster Recovery strategy for console emulations, access and
functionality surrounding MCS devices using IBM 2074 devices and methodology providing
access remotely and more rapidly saving an estimated 8 hours in the recovery window.
Developed and designed network approach, providing continuous MCS availability as well as
remote access as needed.
Developed segregated network with no remote access but tying current devices to internal
occur in internal network that would compromise functionality.
Negotiated $500K savings in monitoring software costs.

requirements for “clean up, archiving and migration” following product installation and

Aided in replacement of four 9672 IBM mainframes with two 2064-C111 IBM mainframes,
covering 10 LPARs (Logical Partitions) over period of 4 weekends; complete transition went

Oversaw complete day to day operations of the data center and its staff of 22 employees. Developed
and implemented stringent controls concerning production processing and accesses. Absorbed and
then revamped department that contained 34 internal audit violations concerning security, access,
processing and change control. Within 1 year of assuming the role as manager, absolved all 34 issues
to receive a clean bill of health the following audit. Designed, developed, wrote and implemented
change control software to provide a secure method for promoting code from test through quality and
into the production environments. The software is known as ATI (Automated Turnover Interface).
Taught 10 week JCL Programming course to group of 11 employees. Taught 10 week REXX
Programming course to group of 8 employees. Implemented numerous controls concerning request
