Solutions Marketing: Leading Business Productivity marketing by working closely with solutions sales teams to drive
activities including: Microsoft Experience Center hands-on sessions, product launch events such as Windows 10, and
executive roundtables to extend reach to line-of-business contacts outside of IT. Building relationships with key stakeholders
to drive events with high impact and ROI, such as $72M in Microsoft Experience Center events velocity in fiscal year 2015.
Event Demand Generation: Update registration lists for all national events using internal and external online systems;
update T-minus countdown emails to keep key stakeholders informed of event progress; and manage nomination and
invitation process for nationally executed events.
Execution Excellence: Budget management totaling $225K for fiscal year 2015; localize national newsletter to ensure
relevance to district, create pre & post event communications to showcase event ROI, overall event wins, and customer

Program Management: Work in union with Executive Marketing Managers to coordinate executive visits, integration of
district customers to national events. Manage the implementation of marketing plans for virtual and on-site events including
third party tradeshows, roundtables, executive events and webcasts. Partner with Marketing Managers to drive Pre-event
demand generation strategy and manage Post-event reporting.
Marketing Communications: Partner with key stakeholders to plan and create monthly customer email campaigns. These
campaigns promote Microsoft products or national events. Created new standardized process for pre and post event emails
which streamlined the communications process. Coordinated with the US Marketing Excellence Director, to create the
process to scale US Enterprise Marketing Communications into geo district newsletters.
Lead Marketing Coordinator: Lead marketing coordinator for the East region from 2009-2010. Maintained relationships
with seven marketing coordinators through coaching, training and monthly community calls. Interviewed, on-boarded and
trained new marketing coordinators that came into role. Worked closely with the Randstad Training Manager to promote
best practices throughout the community.
SharePoint Management: Collaborate with the Communications Committee to create a standard US Enterprise Marketing
SharePoint site. Create and maintain district SharePoint sites as an organized communications strategy.

Order and Executive Event planning site to help marketers in planning, execution and results tracking of all marketing

Event Management: Planned and coordinated executive events for customers and internal events for employees. Results of
the tradeshows was to stand out amongst numerous competitors. Customer events promoted relationship building between
sales and the customer. Employee events promoted a sense of community within the company and recognition of success
from within.
Tradeshow Management: Planned and coordinated, approximately 30 per year, national tradeshows in which SouthStar
was a part of which included booth setup, staffing, internal communications, lead collection, onsite management and post
show reporting.
Budget Management: Managed all accounting and billing activities to insure timely, accurate payment of services. Prepared
cost analysis of each event in order to report results against return on investment.
Written Communications: Prepared and implemented the roll out of communications for each event to show and event
attendees. This included logistical information as well as any specifics details pertaining to each event/location.
Database Management: Maintained database of event sites suitable for future seminars, relationship building events and
tradeshows.
Program Management: Worked directly with a Promotional Products vendor in order to create an internal company store
program. This program was available to all sales employees in order to market directly to their customers. The program was

service provided directly to the customer so they could use to market to their customers.
