4. Ischaemic heart disease
– is a medical condition defined by interrupted or
restricted blood flow through arteries in the heart
muscle.
5. Cause:

have high blood pressure (hypertension)

have a high blood cholesterol level

do not take regular exercise

have diabetes
6. Stroke
– sometimes referred as cerebrovascular accident
(CVA) is the rapid loss of brain function due to
disturbance in the blood supply to the brain.

• A stroke occurs when the blood supply to your
brain is interrupted or reduced
• A stroke may be caused by a blocked artery
(ischemic stroke) or a leaking or burst blood
vessel (hemorrhagic stroke)
• Obesity
