2. For my digipak I plan on
using symbols rather than
images. The idea behind this
is to keep the brand image
of ’FUR’ as very simple but
yet compelling as the
audience can not always see
the band themselves but
rather a symbol to represent
what they are.
As you can see on the left “Led-Zeppelin’ a
rock band used the following symbols to brand
themselves. The different symbols have the
sole purpose of representing the individual
band members; rather than just listing their
name. This use of symbols is rather unique and
it’s something I would like to incorporate into
my own digipak.

3. The font ideas shown here are very
different from one and other and they
all give a very different brand image for
the brand. I will look at all of the
following fonts and see which one best
fits when I come to producing my own
digipak.

4. In the following logo it’s clear to me that
the brand likes to use vibrant and eye-
catching colour’s and therefore I plan on
incorporating their current style with
solid white and black colour also
incorporated into the colour scheme.
Therefore the pink and yellow colour’s
would be used as highlight colour’s
within the main bold colour’s.
The use of vibrant colours is also
conventional for an indie band, but not
for a male band therefore showing signs
of femininity and in that way is
unconventional.
