 An hour-long soap opera that will broadcast weekly.
 Set at a boarding school in a rural village in England.
 Features a small and diverse cast.
 Storylines will follow the lives of the teachers, staff and students at the
school.
 Storyline topics will cover important issues appropriate for the target
audience of 16-34 year olds. For example: sexuality, bullying, racist
and homophobic issues.
 Themes are unity, friendship, trust, teamwork and overcoming
adversity.
 Multi-strand narrative and cliff hangers at the end of each season.
Research
 No main competitors as other shows are set in a city or are for an older
target audience.
 Similar soap operas have been successful abroad.
 41% of the target audience want to see a soap opera set in a school.
