INDIVIDUAL PITCH
Treatment, Script and Mood board.
TREATMENT
 'Me and My Flat mates'
 Four British university students discovering their new
found freedom and entering the independent world
 Synopsis: The British 'How I Met Your Mother' and '2 Broke
Girls' merged together about students. They have just
started their first year of university and are exploring their
freedom. Each episode will display individual story lines
between the different characters as they create a
bucket list to complete before they all graduate from
university which leads to funny adventures and stories.
 The location would mainly base in and around the
apartments and the college student lounge. The
atmosphere in the apartment could linger from being
enthusiastic and motivated to do crazy adrenaline filled
adventures or lazy days in complaining about
everything. The college lounge is where the flat mates
would meet new students and find information about
    upcoming events around the town.
TREATMENT
 We would concentrate on four main characters, 1 male
    and 3 female;
 The only characters that know each other before
moving in the apartment are two females (Ella and Lily)
who have a love/hate relationship from their previous
    college
 (Lily) prefers the company of herself and music. She is highly
intelligent academic-wise but has no common sense and
would try to mock her flat mates but fails.
 (Ella) is an chinese student who takes advantage of her
freedom away from her strict parents whilst still trying to
maintain good grades so they would contact her as little as
      possible.
 (Jamie) is overly eager to move into a flat with 3 girls as he
is slightly arrogant and concentrates too much on his body.
He would try to flirt with anything to get his way around the
      university
 (Diana) is the sarcastic, monotone, laid-back, trend setter
who wouldn't care if a parade of llamas approached her
speaking in fluent English, her reaction would be a sarcastic
      thumbs up and 'great'.
TREATMENT

 Target Audience: As the audience we would target
would be British students 15-20 years old, mixed
    gender and middle class.
 Duration: The programme would last 45 minutes.
The episodes wouldn’t be too long or too short for
    the audience’s attention span.
 Format: The technology that will be used to create
the product are DSLR cameras for filming and
    iMovie for editing.
 Style: The programme would be based on British
humour, mostly sarcasm and light hearted comedy
suitable for an audience of younger ages.
Exaggerated drama would also be used
TREATMENT
 Rationale: This programme would relate to our
target audience as it bases its comedy around
different character personalities that people would
meet. If the programme is broadcasted, the target
audience could find out new trends easily and
have a programme they could laugh about.

 Feasibility: The production would be a workable
project as the locations used are simple and ideal
as there wouldn’t be too many set changes. As we
are students producing this product, we are most
likely to have all the resources to create the
programmes and we have other contacts in
college that can provide any resources if needed.
