Celeste Maria Simão Fidalgo completed a work experience placement at Merton Council within L&D section of
HR department as a L&D Advisor Assistant from 4th July until 9th September 2016.
She assisted in collating information from Performance Appraisals, which contributed to the organisation’s
Training Needs Analysis. She assisted in the production of the annual Learning and Development Evaluation in
particular the collation of findings from a focus group to review the new Talent Management Programme.
Celeste collected information on the return on investment of Professional Development though the production of
survey monkey questionnaires. She maximised response rates through contacting those who had not responded
by phone and discussing the impact of their learning on their performance. She collated the information gathered
into summary reports used in the annual Evaluation report.
Celeste is a very committed and reliable person who has a strong work ethic, she has an eye for detail and was
a pleasure to work with
